Are guys honest on the “how do I look” questions? Or are most of them just horny?

It depends on how she looks? It seems every woman is hating at least a dozen things about how she looks, and even when I tell her that she looks "AMAZING" she doubts, and says something that is self-degrading, like something I NEVER EVEN SAW!!
Why do women call out their imperfections, when most guys don't even see most of these?
When he says, "You look AMAZING" and kisses you, and holds you, why is it so hard to accept that? Why do you have to, often, comment, on something you hate about yourself, that he hasn't even seen?
Why is it so hard to just realize he loves you, and you are AMAZING, to him? Just leave it, at that, and love that he adores you!! :) :)

I believe the "how do I look" tend to be about people fishing for attention or good-looking. If they're fishing for attention, then they will be met with lots of cruel comments, because people will notice right away. If they're not fishing for attention, but still good-looking, then the comments will be pretty accurate. I think I have yet to see someone below average post a picture of themselves here asking for a rate or an opinion on their looks. Maybe I'll upload one of myself one of these days
