  • I'm more attracted to submissive girls, but I know some men like more dominant. And that's okay. More than okay, that's great! yay diversity.

    I prefer submissive girls because I like the dynamic. I like to have her show her trust in me, and to "surrender" to me. For me (and for the partners I've discussed it with) it is a feeling of intimacy that goes to the next level, creating a dynamic of trust and connection. The same way you don't really want two people driving the car, it's better if one person just trusts the other person to do a good job of it.

    I also find submission attractive because I see dominant women as a bit too much, since I am dominant as well. I don't hate on them or anything, but I don't see a good chemistry with them. I tend to have good relations with dominant women (and men) in a professional setting. In that setting, I like a dominant person (man or woman) who will take charge, take responsibility, whom I can trust and when I find that sort of person I am happy to be following their lead. When I say I am dominant, I don't mean I am competitive or egotistical about it. Being a leader isn't always strictly about leading, if that makes sense? It is also about support.

    Speaking of support, I find submissive women fun to support. It feels like a good exchange where we are both trying to do the best for each other. I want to support her and help her to be her best and make sure she is taken care of, and ideally she is trying her best to please me and take care of me as well. So we are just in a cycle of giving to each other.

    Sexually, I prefer to hear a girl say, (s)"Take me", rather than, (D)"I'm going to take you." or "(s) Do whatever you want with me." over (D)"I'm going to have my way with you". I try to explain why, but closest I can come is that it fills me with power (ego trip) and makes me feel sexy.

    I want to close by saying I don't think there is anything wrong with liking dominant women or being a submissive man. It doesn't make you "less manly" in my opinion. People can enjoy themselves in whatever way they like, and to find someone who is a good match for you is the most important thing. Don't let others make the rules for your life, figure out what fits YOU. :D

  • Either. I'm naturally dominant so it doesn't really stick out to me when a girl is submissive. A lot of girls are, if not most women, so it's pretty normal to me. It just enables me to be default, which is dominant.
    However, when a woman is dominant, it does ring out to me and it is very attractive.

    Most men would probably prefer neutral to slightly submissive.
