My mom has been here, married to a white guy for 25 years. We are part of a huge Asian community in the South, and know many Asians who have been here for twice that long, married to white guys. Not once have I ever seen or heard someone say anything negatively about it, nor have I heard any of the Asians say that they have any trouble.
Also pretty much none of them would ever use a hookup app, that is very frowned upon in their culture.

Of the Asian women I dated in the pre-dating app era, three I met at high school or at university in the US (two Japanese, one half-Japanese), one I met at church in South Korea, and one I met because she was the friend of a woman I met randomly (also in Korea). I cannot imagine any of them being on Tinder, though, even if they had been born after 1995. I did meet a Vietnamese girlfriend online, but it wasn't on a dating site.
The point is that there are much better places to meet Asian women than Tinder, even if you're in Asia.

That's a good point. I guess it may also depend on your country and their views towards white men and Asian women dating. According to the video, Tinder was most convenient for that man to connect with Filipino women.
Filipinas are not Asian. Filipinas are Port/Navy people and are generally more loose than SE Asia and Asia proper. I lived in a Navy city. Their food is awesome but for the most part their ways are much more white American OF like.
I am a Caucasian American. My girlfriend was born in China and came to the US when she was 29 years old. We met on Zoosk but I did not consider that to be a hookup site and we did not engage in casual sex. I never felt there was a stigma to American men dating foreign women; over my lifetime, I have dated women from Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Ireland, Brazil, Colombia, Phillipines, China, India, Vietnam, and a native American woman.
Nah, normally they would go to Thailand, Malaysia or Philly for a sex trip and pickup someone.
Now they can save the cost of the trip in most cases.
I guess if you're just talking about casual sex hookups, but in this video they're implying that hookup apps are being used as a way foe white men and Asian women to meet each other in general without negative judgement from onlookers.

I guess the theory of the couple in the video is that it was more difficult to mingle with Asian women in the Philippines before, but since dating apps became popular white males and Asian females have a private place (Free from judgement) to form connections and set up dates.
Generally speaking, Tinder is not the place to go looking for marriage.
