Would most guys like to have several different sex partners over the course of a year if they weren’t committed to anyone and it was possible? I think so.
What about women? Most probably not.

Although most guys would probably do that if they could, the reality is most can’t and that’s why they don’t.
For women, I think even a very unattractive one wouldn’t have too much trouble finding someone to have sex with her.
My final answer is probably women. Pound for pound they have far more opportunity.

I won't say every man will fuck just anythting but a lot will. Women may have more options but theyre also picky about those options. The only ones probably sleeping witth a new man weekly are the ones who go out clubbing and are cheap enough to get fcked in a bathroom or alley. No. What happens is that men are less scared about having sex, and that resulting in a failed situation afterwards.
Which doesn't automatically translate into them valuing less a committed relationship.
Women are definitely more cautious with the very real risk of getting pregnant and having to choose between medical intervention or carrying and raising a child (if they even live in a place where choice is a possibility) regardless of birth control options, cause they're the ones with the biggest physical and emotional impact, if things go wrong.

@es20490446e Gay men on average have a significantly more sexual partners than women do regardless of the woman's sexual orientation. So yes I am sure that plays into those numbers.

Overall it seems like it should be roughly even. Simplified, ten men and ten women. If Two Chads each have sex with the ten women, and the women have sex only with the Chads, then eight dudes are left out. The Chads are by far the most promiscuous, but the women are all more promiscuous than the eight incels. The same dynamic could be applied to gay or bisexual people.
This of course does not take into account polygamists. A Chad could in theory have two or three wives who are unaware of each other. In that case, the women would not be promiscuous but Chad would be. But in a population of eight billion, not sure that would be a significant enough number to move the needle.
