No, this is not happening!

When a child turns out to be LGBTQ+, it has nothing to do with the parents. Children who love the same sex or who exhibit gender atypical behaviour often do so in spite of their parents. Sometimes parents come round quickly, sometimes it takes them a while, but sometimes parents drop their children.

If being LGBTQ+ was based on nurture, then David Reimer could have become a girl and LGBTQ+ conversion therapy would have worked. In reality, it does not work. It never has done and it never will do.

Also, this poll forgets the existence of lesbians, bi girls, and trans men. It assumes that being a straight guy is better than being a straight woman, trans guy, or a gay guy.

So, my answer is an emphatic "no!".
