I completely agree with you on that, they're busy doing other things and don't think of themselves as sexual beings, but when someone else does, it's flattering. Take for example if you tell a younger woman nice tits, she's offended, now if you tell an older woman that she has nice tits, it's a compliment lol (it's a total generalization mind you not everyone)

In your case maybe it's the milfs in question, I mean we all have preferences maybe you weren't theirs? In general they are more confident and will play the game slower and more subtly; for example I have seen this milf in this particular supermarket who flirts regularly with two specific cashiers (I saw her do it twice).
