Are women who are sexually attracted to bad boys more wanting to do one-night stands / fuckboy relationships?

To make one thing clear: when i write good guys, i don't mean nice guys who have no balls in their pants and are shy losers (nothing against shy men, i used to be very shy myself), but i mean men who are just as manly, confident, good-looking, assertive etc. as the bad boys, but who, unlike the bad boys, are not evil, but friendly and humorous.

I am only interested in how you would like to live, regardless of whether you really live like that! Example: You would like to have a fuckboy, but you never had a fuckboy, then please choose anyway that you like fuckboy relationships.

I'm not into either of those things, but in my experience with girls who seem to go after bad boys, it seemed to me to always be very oblivious girls who were either under the impression they could change these guys, or were just too out of touch with reality/in denial to realize what kind of people these guys really are. They wanted to believe what they wanted to believe about them.

Two girls I know stick out in particular. The first was a very lovesick girl who had a fantasy to "tame" a bad boy and make him want to change and settle down with her. Of course, it never worked and she got her heart broken numerous times. The second was a girl who was not completely all the way there mentally and was truly oblivious. She believed anything these guys would tell her and truly believed they were "not that bad" despite being wanted criminals and actually having the police called to her apartment all the time.

I forgot to add that neither of these girls were interested in one night stands and both were looking for serious relationships. The first was heartbroken when she was used for sex. The second didn't really have the mental capacity to do much more than shrug it off and try again.

Not that all or even most women are like either of these two (they aren't), but I've come across many women like each of these two examples, and I'm glad that you, a woman, described them, as I feel like if I'd done so, it would have seemed like a misogynistic complaint and just be dismissed. But you described them perfectly, including the fact that both were hoping for serious relationships. I've seen women like these so many times, and it goes exactly as you described.

Maybe? Not necessarily. There are plenty of girls who are sexually attracted to that stereotype who are really into casual sex.

But then again, you've also got to think that also a lot of the 'good girls' who would never have casual sex at one point were sexually attracted to that type. Think about the number of girls who swooned when Taylor Lautner stripped naked in twilight breaking dawn... I know I did. Just because I can admit Taylor is damn sexy doesn't mean I'm easy or I want to fuck around.

I have some friends who have those 'relationships' with fuck boys where they are essentially being the booty call. It seems fun while it lasts, but when it ends, they'll pretend it doesn't matter but actually it makes a girl feel like an old sock. Not something I would get involved in, personally.

My theory is woman with abusive parents or self esteem issues value ego in a man and bad boys have ego - a woman loved and respected by family and friends values kindness and self control so she won't date somebody who breaks barriers and stands out because of it

@jennifer_bloom If that is the case, there are many women who have abusive parents or self-esteem issues 😬. I don’t think it is the only reason, many women go for Bad Boys, but I also believe that in many cases it has something to do with it.

Wow, answering this would require in-depth psychological analysis and profiles to study for each person whom a personally know to have dated “bad-boys” as well as a variety of other psychological categories of men. Here I am being invited to a year old question, well this should be fun.

This is kind of a twist on guys want us girls to sleep around a lot so they can have fun. Yet many guys won't consider a girl who sleeps around as marriage material.

The same is said for men, some girls like the bad boys for fun... but would not consider them marriage material.

It happens from both sides.

I have evolved from just wanting sex with whoever, I didn't care if it was a good guy or bad boy. To only wanting good guys, I don't see bad boys as being loyal.

My goal in life now is no more one timers and to focus on long term relationships only forever more.

I do feel that women who like bad boys are looking to turn him good.. but with him they prob imagine they’ll get rough sex, space, and adventure. I personally am not into bad boys... they usually seem less likely to commit and are immature or in fact, too mature (very serious, hardly laid back) as well as cocky/arrogant/conceited/overconfident

I guess that women who are into fuckboys and one night stands just want to have sex and remain single. They're not looking for a relationship. I'm not judging them, I'm just saying what I think.

I’m not into either of those things, and would prefer to be in a relationship with someone who is a bit of both... someone with a little bit of a natural bad boy aura but is also a really nice, sweet and caring guy who doesn’t TRY to look a certain way to appear cool or attract girls, he just is who he is and is comfortable with that.
