I don't think this is a strange topic to discuss here.
But it really has me wondering, with all these relationship titles and issues with consent etc etc.
wouldn't it be easier to just say you just want sex?

Or is that just too upfront?
There's no wires being crossed, no decoding.

Do you think this question comes across differently depending on the gender asking?

Well you just wanna go up to a random person that you think is attractive and say "let's go have sex" but if you kinda know them first name basis and your both single then maybe you could but yeah it depends on gender if a girl asked the guy might say "sure let's go" and if a guy asked a girl to he might get a drink throw in his face or slapped.

For men, its usually best to be ambiguous to some degree. While many women do in fact want and like casual sex, the fastest way to end the interaction with many women is to make it clear thats all you want. So if nobody says anything its not misleading and also does not turn the girl off.
