wouldn't it be easier to just say you just want sex?

For men, its usually best to be ambiguous to some degree. While many women do in fact want and like casual sex, the fastest way to end the interaction with many women is to make it clear thats all you want. So if nobody says anything its not misleading and also does not turn the girl off.
