It has become totally acceptable for women to wear any clothing of their choice and even to present themselves as more masculine. Why is it still frowned upon for men to wear more traditionally feminine clothing and to present themselves in a more feminine manner?

I think lots of guys get it wrong because the women get it wrong. For example, take idea that men shouldn't cry. I think lots of people take that the advice at face value and cry over little things. They don't try to think more positively and productively so that they cry less which is what both men and women should be doing.

@asphaltrhymes Oh, I was thinking Q was about something not so surface-level! Like spirit of a man. In Japan there are a lot of types too that I think are metrosexual. It is not my style but I respect any man who some of the deeper spirit and virtues of a man. Rest to me is just fashion.

I'm a bit of both, a millennial, a gen Z, a modern clean hippy, ☮️ and a modern metrosexual 2020s vs 2000s. After all, I'm someone who'd enjoy laser hair removal (I'm not dating so I'm not) and I enjoy hair gel, hair cuts, I enjoy teeth brushing and showering 👀 hygiene 🪥

@asphaltrhymes That's a bit much for me but you know, fashion sense! I think one of the deeper things that distinguish masculine and feminine is like masculine way thinks, "I can get better." It's focused on potential, ambition, growth. Then feminine way at extreme thinks, "I'm perfect as I am!" It is focused on self-love. That is why we only see fat women on fashion's magazines and not fat men, because fat men since they have to fix something. Fat women since they have to fix society.

I guess it depends on what you mean by feminine. People have different views of what that means. Some people think it means dressing a certain way and others think it means acting a certain way. You can dive deep into both of those categories. It all depends on your definition.
