At what age should someone start using sex toys?

Wish I had a proper one at a younger age, when I started masturbating and discovered porn I found out about them and really wanted one BADLY.
A few times I used my dad's electric shaver but made really good care to cover the top fully and only used the handle, that worked decently.
I also used vegetables but made sure to eat them or dispose of them afterwards.
I would definitely buy one for a little sister if she asked now, because my parents aren't as open to it. I had to get mine by talking to a friend's mum, I know it's weird but she was really sex positive and she did it for me.
I believe someone should be at least 12 before their parents or sister should buy them a sex toy, and a vibrator should definitely be the first one they use. They should be told how to use it as well.
I am very open with my older and younger sister and if she ever asked I'd happily comply.
I have also used my mother's and older sister's vibrators secretly and unfortunately I was caught once by my sister before she taught me I should probably wait for my own but if desperate can use her wand with a condom on (I did end up doing it).

I'd buy them for my teenager kids if they wanted one, yes. I think as long as you're sexually able, biologically speaking, then it's OK to use a sex toy
