It all started with a punch.
Ended with a loud ringing in my ear, a rewarding black eye. Because it was the giant, Stan Duex, I couldn't have gotten away without a black eye.
But when I saw her, it was all worth it. Her face was devoid of any emotion. Neutrally, she just stood there, watching us from afar.

Peach drives me home wordlessly.
Drags me over to her house bathroom.
Gets ice bags, steaks, first aid and all. By the bathtub, she sits taking care of me. And I say (more afraid of her cold anger than Stan's seething face )— “are you cross with me?”
She answers. “No. Boys will be boys.”
“Do you think it was rash of me to challenge the bully?”
She responds with a pointed, slightly amused look - “now that Nikolai didn't quite say.”
I happen to look in the mirror and the words are all clear. She doesn't hafta respond. “I look so awful, ” I graze my fingers around the damaged areas. She retracts my hand. “The bigger the enemy, the easier you trip them.”
I meet her with a beam. Does it mean she's —
“Not hit them with a naked fist. A sucky, sucky attempt. ”
“I am sorry -”
“- Is fine.”
Just then, I notice her gentleness. Softly, she brings herself to heal me. A kiss against the corners of my mouth, another on the nose, she cups my face when she whispers—“I thought it was rather cool. But I'd myself punch you if you repeat this incident. ”
“Okay—”
“You are my precious, don't you realise?”
“I do—”
I struggle. Her skin is cold, freshly scented with the same bodywash as I, some Jasmine extract. When she runs a hand under my shirt in attempt of checking for wounds there, I've to stifle myself from moaning. Her chin's over my shoulder, and, well she does take care of me sincerely.
Later, I bathe alone.
Yes, she offered to clean me before treating but I refused. It's embarrassing enough to stand naked in her house, with her within hearing range. Sitting patiently over the toilet seat down. “Have you ever gotten into a fight?”
“Girls don't -”
“- Okay -”
“- I have... He was the biggest bad boy. I bit him to death. ”
As I wrapped a towel around my waist and drew open the curtains, I could only stare at her form. Her obsidian eyes squinting, tears welling up in them, as her arms crossed over themselves, holding back... everything.
Immediately, I take her in my arms.
“Sh, Auden's okay — please don't cry.”

We kiss a lot afterwards. Like a lot a lot. Peach isn't aggressive with her advances as she normally would be. In fact, she lays me down so tactfully I swear my heart somersaults.
There's a thin white shirt on me and she still wears her plaid skirt. I don't think I can make love knowing her parents can walk in on us anytime.
So why am I tangled up with her, arching my back, gasping and sighing?
Because sometimes she's the most gentle person I know. It's overwhelming, blushingly so.
