Awkward silence before kiss?

before you kiss someone for the first time there is always that awkward silence.
i wanna kiss this guy and he is verrryyyy shy and i dont know how to break the silence or go in for the kiss...

You don't go in for the kiss right off the bat girl. Since your guy is shy... try to put his comfort first. Be yourself and start with occasional quick pecks at the corner of the mouth. Assuming you guys are together, always make sure he is comfortable then you will see the silences will no longer feel awkward in anyway. Hold his face slowly lean in while observing his reaction. If he shies away then smile and lean back and tell him its alright. If he looks open to receiving kisses from you then instead of going straight to tonsil hockey start out slow with close mouthed kisses before frenching him.

If you wanna kiss him before asking him out then forget it... his shyness will only make him run away from you. Simply ask him out.
