My housemate has a tendency not to knock on my door when he comes into my room if it's closed. He learned a valuable lesson just the other day in respecting privacy to the point of at least knocking on a door before entering haha.

Another mate's story just came to mind - he was watching some intense girl on girl videos, had over-ear headphones on and could hear the sound just fine. He turned the volume up full and was a little confused as to why it didn't sound too much louder. Typically he'd left his speakers plugged in instead of his headphones and the whole house heard what he was getting up to.
