There was a test where they let a whole bunch of women, 20-30 years old, have a quick date with 3 different men. nr 1 acted really nice and sweet but looked a little nerdy, nr 2 was a little boring but athletic and well dressed, and nr 3 acted cocky, respectless and showed his main interest was sex. He even subtly hinted that he wanted a blowjob after the date. He was better than average looking.
The women afterwards answered questions anonymously. More than 70% wanted a second date with 2, only 20% with 1 and less than 10% 3. The most shocking result was to the question, would you have a one night stand with one of them? (sex after this first date, without wanting a second date). Almost half replied yes, and about 90% of those that did, wanted to do it with nr 3. The reason was that he was straight forward, confident and showed that he was the domintant one, even though he was kind of an asshole with little respect for women. Some even wrote down that they would just give him the blowjob he asked for couse they felt intrigued by his straight forwardness, so even that did seem to work.
Apparently women dig the dominant one, just for sex, no matter if he is a nice person or not. I think it's pretty logical considering survival of the fittest. What are your thoughts on this?

I think that women, unlike men, use different screening criteria for a hookup vs dating.
In a hookup, they tend to like highly aggressive and dominant men (and weight looks heavily as well) From an evolutionary standpoint, if you're going to have a child with a father who isn't around, he better have great genetics and produce a very strong kid. I'd also hazard a guess that when women, for most of our evolution, are opting for that kind of sex, it's because things are unstable, men aren't raising kids, and being strong and aggressive is very important.
For a long term relationship, they like guys who are -somewhat- dominant but more balanced, they like looks but will settle more, and also want good provider/father type skills and attributes. Which also makes sense. If the guy is going to raise the kids, you want good genetics, but you're also considering their improved likelihood of success via father's help (I say consider, but actually it's not conscious, it's more accurate to say 'women who liked men in this situation with these characteristics reproduced more successfully, so their instincts became dominant). I'd also suggest that women in more stable environments tend to hook up less, and pursue this scenario more, which makes sense - in a stable culture with strong families, a strong father and more ability to work with groups are better traits to pass on to children.
I disagree with your first statement. I doubt men would want to marry or have kids with a slutty hot girl with a bad attitude. But they'd be down for a one night stand with her. It's only natural to have different criteria depending on what you're looking for.
@snowangle if a slutty girl is really hot plenty of guys will marry her. I also know guys who married girls theyd first met having a ONS. The main issue with guys marrying slutty girls or not is actually that guys will sleep with girls who are simply -below- their threshold for dating. On most things they simply have higher standards for long term then short. I don't entirely disagree with you though - but that (how fast they fuck) is literally the only 'changing' standard for some men (and not even all, mainly guys who like but look down on 'sluts' and in some groups they don't) By contrast women choose have a different set of priorities short vs long. Guys for the most part it's just higher for long.
