Here's why I'm asking, I know a lot of sluts and they are happy people (I talked to them) they feel free and non restricted into a monogamous relationship. That sex is a beautiful thing, and we have a type of love that can be shared even if it's just for a moment. I was wondering what other people thought as well. I'm not a slut, but I've been told don't knock it till you try it.

  • It's bad IF you expect to have a serious, lasting relationship later in life.

    In that way, it's kind of like a face tattoo: if you get a face tattoo, it doesn't mean that you are completely unemployable, but it absolutely means that virtually all of the jobs that most people would see as the most desirable (and highest paid) would be unavailable to you. You would not be able to be a doctor, lawyer, financier/investment manager, banker, advertising executive, or a manager in nearly any major business (and I'm sure I'm leaving out plenty of others). Simply having that ink on your face would forever lock those options away from you.

    Likewise, if you are any of those things, it doesn't meant that you could never find someone who would be in a relationship with you, but it DOES mean that all of the men you really WANT would absolutely be unavailable to you. What's confusing about that is that most of them would still happily BANG you, and they might even be friends with benefits with you or be your sugar daddy for a while, but as far as a "real" romantic relationship, forget it - never gonna happen. The men who WOULD agree to be in a relationship with you are men you would never have chosen if you had the options you had before becoming any of these things.

    So... you are literally trading something you want NOW for something you're going to want in the future - and once you make that decision, that's it, forever. You can't undo it. You can't fix it, you can't improve it.

    Being any of those things will destroy your ability to pair-bond, and even if you move across the country or to a different part of the world, and no one knows about your past, your behaviors and attitude and body language will reveal your lack of ability to pair-bond, and any man who knows what to look for (and most highly-desirable men will be included in that group) are going to immediately put you in the "only good for casual sex" category. They'll still have sex with you if you let them, but you can forget about getting a commitment from them. And as you get older, fewer and fewer will even be willing to take sex for their attention, because they'll have better, younger options available to them.

    I fully believe that you can do what you want and make your own decisions, but you should also make those decisions fully-informed. Nothing I've written here is original - I didn't invent any of this, nor do I control it - but these rules are in effect the world over, in places I'll never visit and with people whose languages I don't speak and will never talk to. It's the way the world works.

    YouTube is full of former porn stars who are now wealthy, own homes and cars and can travel, but who complain that they can't find a good man. Tons of guys want to bang them, but of the few who would commit to them, none of them are the guys those girls want or think they deserve. When they do find someone, those relationships/marriages rarely last to the 5-year mark, and it's twice as hard to find the next one.

  • Personally, no. On a societal level, yes. The short explanation is, whores and skanks don't do anything useful for society and they ruin the creation of families, children, and societal progress.   • I don't think it's bad. We aren't living in the stone ages. We have the ability to have safe and harmless sex. I don't like calling people "sluts" or similar terms because I like sex a lot. I enjoy watching and appreciating porn, and I have a lot of respect for people that can remove all of the bullshit surrounding sex and just enjoy it (safely and responsibly of course).

    I don't really like the idea of charging for it, because sex should be something that both people seek out for the purpose of having sex, not making money, keeping relationships stable, not feeling like a loser, etc. But I can't really blame women for charging and using services like OnlyFans. People demonize women that like casual sex so much that it's probably no longer appealing to the majority of women. If you're gonna put yourself through that kind of scrutiny, you might as well be making money off of it.
