Biologically speaking, why would men worry more about a woman’s sexual past as opposed to women worrying about a man’s?

I personally am not asking because I do not know the answer as I already do.
I’m asking to
1. See if people even know there is a biological reasoning to this
2. Are in denial to biology being a reason
3. Figure out what other reasonings people have to give
Biologically speaking, why would men worry more about a woman’s sexual past as opposed to women worrying about a man’s?

Superb Opinion

  • To assure a loyal partner and to not end up raising someone else’s child, I guess. Loyalty is one of the top characteristics asked from men in a partner. And they value more sexual loyalty, compared to women who value more emotional loyalty. One could say the past is the past but it shows about the future tendency.

    • I really like your answer.

  • In the past, having more sexual partners increased your odds of contracting a STD. That has a possibility of affecting a woman's fertility. Also, while there was a general understanding that people should not be promiscuous, men were forgiven their indiscretions while women were held to a higher standard.

  • It's fair to be worried about both, I dunno how much easy of a time men have sex but definitely the sexual fetishes they subscribe to and their body count should be watched just as much as a woman's

    • Also why you using globohomo art?

    • I just chose a random Google image that I thought would relate to the topic of the question.

    • Ah okay
