It could. But as you noted, it's often more of an "insight" or "clue" than a straight answer. Take interracial porn- it's not about interracial actors; if it was, it would have permutations other than "white woman and black man having sex with each other" and "multiple white women/black men having sex with each other". It's about transgressing a social taboo. I suspect a lot of incest porn is, as well.

It may also just be that he finds a particular actress attractive; you'd often do better looking for patterns than just going from a single video (or image set or pop-up book or whatever form it takes).

No, it means he is negatively influenced by the pornography industry. Porn is not natural, nor is it healthy, despite what those in the media and addicts might claim. As individuals become more and more desensitized to pornographic material, they begin to search for more erotic versions, and eventually end up in categories promoted by the industries themselves. I personally do not watch it anymore and advise anyone who does to stop; it is immoral and causes problems. Not at all. Porn is fantasy and not necessarily something you want in real life. I really like sister and stepsister porn.
