Okay, this piece of information I got from a news I read on Phoenix got me totally confused. A man finds out his wife didn't bleed after their first time ever on their honeymoon so he took it socials where many , really many commented. But one one comment caught my attention, a medical practitioner commented that a woman can lose her virginity without sex intercourse, she said this can be through doing heavy exercise or work. Am still confused.

First of all breaking the hymen is not a true measure of virginity that is a massively outdated concepts.

I'm only going to talk about loosing virginity in heterosexual terms gay sex and virginity have much more personal definitions.

In traditional terms loosing virginity is simple penis in vagina= virginity gone be it just the tip or full penetration.

There are some religious measurements of virginity that mean it has to be unprotected sex because a condom is a barrier... but most don't follow this.

For most anal or oral is a get out clause for not loosing virginity as they don't involve penis in vagina. As a man I would consider anal as loosing virginity as I'm penetrating a woman but for a woman it's there opinion.

Each hymen has an individual structure; some individuals may experience bleeding and pain, while others may have neither. So if she didn’t bleed it doesn’t mean that she’s not virgin. And people should be aware of medicine and has different anatomy. And yeah plus girl may lose it if she is a gymnast, or doing heavy exercises (possible)

It all depends on the definition of the word "virginity", which has many shades nowadays.

1) hymen = virginity. Intact = virgin, broken = non virgin.

That is what the practitioner mean.

2) penis enter vagina intercourse. When a penis enters her vagina, she's no more a virgin. Otherwise she is a virgin.

3) point 2 is usually abused where a girl have anal or oral intercourse, yet claims to be a virgin.

Some accepts that.

Not me. I regard vagina, anal as sex (not oral).

Whatvthe practictitioner meant was a goals hymen can be broken through heavy exercise, bicycle riding of even NY horseback riding. Just because her hymen has broken doesn't necessarily mean dhe has lost her virginity although an intact hymen is often falsely used as thec the measuring benchmark for virginity.
