Can I be pregnant?

Is there any way you could get pregnant if you had sex with condoms? Every time after ejaculation we would take close look at the condom and it didn't break nor there was leaking, but now I'm experiencing some pregnancy symptoms such as nausea and breast tenderness. Are there any chances I still got pregnant somehow?

  • Absolutely. That's how one of my friends at the time got pregnant before she sadly did what she did and aborted her first child. It can happen. And it's one of the top reasons not to have premarital sex at all. Because now if it's proven you are, that's it. The only sure way to know IF you're possibly pregnant is this:

    1. Your abdominal cavity is hard when you breathe in and out.
    2. You haven't had your period in three months.
    3. Gained unexplainable weight, regardless of potential health problems.
    4. At-home tests, however, it may not always be accurate.
    5. Going straight to the clinic and do one.

Wait it out for a few weeks. Even if you are pregnant, the hormones won't show up until a certain time, and that is the only time it can be read on a test. All it takes is for you to ovulate, and a bit of semen to go through. Sperm can live in us 3-5 days and sometimes 7. The younger and irregular your cycle is, the higher your chances of getting pregnant.

  • Technically its possible, condoms are 98% effective. But obviously its extremly unlikely.
If its concerning you take a test and if your breasts remain tender i would get them checked by a dr because there are other things that can cause swelling and tenderness.

  • You can’t be sure unless you make a pregnancy test just take it and see its possible yes not all condoms are efficient and if you’re not pregnant go check a doc about your breasts maybe other things are causing this tenderness

  • I don't think so even if a little leaks, it won't be enough to get you pregnant But you won't lose anything if you come with a pregnancy detector

    • Men make 3-5 million sperm. Men ejaculate 1-3 million per sex act. It is enough to get pregnant even if it's by a few 100,000. All it takes is one time, with the egg released at the right time as sperm can survive for 3-5 days, and sometimes 7.

    • @btbc92 only one sperm survive the long journey So the odds are reduced Like a drop of water in the sea

    • Not exactly. If the sperm is healthy it can survive. BUT it is about compatible genetics. If the genes in the sperm aren't compatible with the egg, it won't attach.

  • I heard a condom has a 2% chance of breaking. This is why people combine condoms with medical forms of birth control.
