Can sex cure minor ailment?

So I have often heard that if you have a cold or a headache, this can be solved with sex. Personally, I’ve never tested the theory out but definitely wanted to try and learn.

    This is because the release of endorphines from the brain soothes the pain - naturally, this is not the same for everyone - for example, when my wife has a headache or a migraine, sex is out of the question - but when she has period cramps or bowel pains, it helps her feel a little better.

  • An orgasm is a build up of tension which is released all at once. Headaches and some muscle pain are tension, and sometimes that tension gets released at the same time. It might be a temporary release though as the underlying cause of the tension isn't corrected.
