Can someone watch you or record your vidéoclip without you or your partner know it?

I am pretty scared, I had last week a video call in zoom with my partner and we did kinky things (we even shown masturbating our own genitalia).

He and I assured the other that no one recorded it. However, right now, an idea came to my mind. What if someone or something in the web, neither me nor him, did it. Can it be possible?, am I just imagining it, how can I know?

  • I'm a software developer somewhat related with security stuff. No worries, hacking a computer is not as easy as you see in movies or people wqnting you to be cautious say.

Although it could happen, there has to be a reason for someone to have an interest in going through all the trouble of hacking your computer. They would have to know you were scheduled to do that at that particular time, which I highly doubt it. It's not like there qre hackers constantly connected to your computer waiting to see if you get naked.

It could happen though (and I would say it probably happened) that he took screenshots or record it. The temptation of doing so in the geat of the moment is too high for us guys. It's a bad thing I recognise it, but unfortunately we often do it. Just tell him "if you took a screenshot or anything, please be very careful with it. Put it in a hidden folder with a random name and don't upload it anywhere"

  • It is possible for people to hack into your computer and place a virus that allows them access to your computer. If that happens, they could record anything on your computer. Recently, I got an email saying a virus was put on my computer, and they would reveal a video of me masturbating to porn if I didn't send them $500 in bitcoin. Yes, I did find a virus on my computer and removed it, but I have no camera so no one could have gained access to a camera that doesn't exist. Nowadays, it seems like everything is a gamble, and it's up to you to determine whether the rewards outweigh the potential cost. Realistically, the video is more likely to be released online by a disgruntled ex than someone hacking into your computer. If you want to play it safe, never allow your face to be shown on these videos.

  • I have had a lot of Facetime or Zoom sex with a girlfriend (before I was married) and it was always fun to watch each other have an orgasm. I have not heard of anyone hacking into it but it could be possible.

  • If it's connected to the internet someone can hack it.

  • While it can happen in theory, most people don't have too much to fear unless you don't trust the other person. The likelihood of the other person recording the session is usually much higher than hacking carried out by a third person.
