Anal sex is by far more risky than vaginal sex. Sure, there are no unwanted pregnancy with anal sex, but there is higher risk of getting infected with a STI, with anal. That's because the vagina had the capacity to clean it's self, wile the butthole is... Only an exit door.

Unprotected anal sex can still lead to pregnancy, semen can leak from the anus into the vagina and cause pregnancy. Other forms of protection (condoms, birth control, etc.) should be used to help lower risk of pregnancy.

Semen won't leak from your anus into your vagina @silverness if you lay on your back, legs spread wide apart with knees & butt lifted upwards (sounds not easy but it's a very hotttt way of doing it imho) Doggy style anal sex could enable that leakage tho !

Possibility is only if girl is on doggie position. You can negate that through other position such missionary, cowgirl or reverse cowgirl.
