Late to the party here but the result of that scenario--much like with men--is just heightened horniness and sexual frustration, so metaphorically sort of is the answer, but without pain. In that scenario, even if he wanted "us" to be less sex focused, if we've progressed to that moment of starting and going and he backs off, I'm going to be skeptical.

@williamy I would be skeptical of what he was actually feeling and thinking in that moment. I've had guys stop when things were getting heated and it's usually some sort of anxiety, doubt, guilt, shame, etc., so I'd be curious to get to the bottom of it. I would always prefer to have an orgasm over not having one! haha But I wouldn't want anyone to do something they were uncomfortable with, for whatever reason. In that case, I have other options.

That makes sense. I tried to clarify that in my question as to his thought process. I guess it’s like I can feel very sexual and turned on being close to someone and on a date with her but I don’t want to only do sexual things. So it’s realizing in the middle of oral sex that I would rather not go too far too fast and instead focus more on getting to know her because I want a long term relationship. Rather her be my girlfriend and have lots of sex in the future and instead on date #4 and 5 still work on getting to know her and building a solid foundation. Sorry that’s a string of thoughts, but feel free to give feedback. Basically if a guy wants a longterm relationship and is too sexual too early does that kill the chances?

Understood. Everyone is different of course, so that's where communication matters. I have a high sex drive, so becoming sexual early in a relationship wouldn't kill the chances of a longer term commitment, and it wouldn't mean I would not see potential because of it. I would just want to hear you explain your thinking. If you told me that was your fear, I'd just say "don't worry about it, we can have both" and tell you to get back to what you're doing. But I've known women that would not sleep with someone they really liked too early, for fear of jeopardizing long term potential. If you tell someone you really like and care about them and don't want to rush things, most people will respect that, even if they are also sexually frustrated by it, that won't ultimately outweigh the benefits, as long as you are okay with becoming sexual soonish.
