Can women have sex after giving birth to baby?

How do women get 4 kids so fast? Because I hear after giving birth you can’t have sex some time? Then I see women each year having baby so in total have 3-4 kids fast close in age? How does that work?

  • Yeah, it takes a few days though. The doctors always told my wife to wait like 4 weeks, but pregnancy hormones make you horny, so she'd jump my bones as soon as the bleeding slowed down enough. We have 4 kids ironically lol. Personally I think it's harder to have sex towards the end of pregnancy with finding a comfortable position and what not, than after birth where there's some bleeding, you just have to pay attention and not be rough.

I mean, if you want to talk about kids close in age we have a 3 yr old, 2 yr old, and 6 month old lol oldest is 6, but they were all like back to back to back. I don't think she wants to have anymore kids though.

    • How did you have 4 kids so fast close in age? Get pregnant fast after giving birth? Or did u wait one year to have another kid? I’m asking cuz I want 4 kids in future with boyfriend but pretend they are accidental cuz I do want 3 kids and he don’t want any.

    • If you and him don't have any fertility issues, getting knocked up isn't rocket science, nor does it take a lot of convincing to get a guy to follow his instincts and cum inside lol. Unless he goes out to get a vasectomy or drops a brick on his nads, it's kind of up to women to have kids. I don't see why you would have to pretend they're an accident. Say you want those babies, and if he doesn't wear condoms. Tricking someone into making multiple babies with you sounds like a bad idea. No one can wear condoms every time though, especially if you tell them you don't want them to heh

    • He said he don’t want kids but last time don’t wear condom lied how he forgot the box of condoms. 🤣🤣🤣but he don’t cum inside he just pull out.

  • It's normally appropriate to wait a few weeks after giving birth to have sex, just to give the woman's bod some time to recover. Having said that, for a few months after giving birth, especially if the woman is breastfeeding, she is very fertile, which is why kids can be so close in age.

  • I've given birth 4 times. Each time I had to wait for about a month to a month and a half-ish to have sex again. But just because that happened doesn't mean I was trying to get pregnant right away (maybe some women do, but my kids were a bit more spaced out)

  • Nurse here! Obstetrics is not my specialty, but I think they want you to wait at least 4 weeks after birth. That doesn't mean you can have sex sooner, but it isn't recommended.

    • @secretsofkb Hello fellow nurse! I mainly work in med/surg but occasionally help out in post-partum and yes 4-6 weeks is recommended. Usually the mother is scheduled a follow-up visit for a post-partum checkup in the clinic and the doc will give them the go ahead, lol.

  • depends entirely on the woman. I could have sex like three weeks after my first XD

  • It will vary woman to woman and depend on the birth etc.

about a month after our daughter was born I was having sex.

There was not actually an option I was told lol.

    • A month after you were having sex, but what about the mother, when did she start having sex again 🤣

    • @DonkeyDan lol fuck off lol 😂😂

    • 🤣🤣🤣

  • It's not recommended but it's technically possible. It's best to wait a few months to let things recover, especially if you're not using any contraceptive.

  • A woman can safely have sex 4-6 weeks after birth. Some women like myself risk it and do it earlier like 2-3 weeks after baby.

  • Usually u have a scheduled appointment/follow up after the birth. Then ur usually told it’s ok to have sex etc. that’s usually 3-6 weeks after.

  • "some time" is not very long.

  • I think she has only has to wait a couple weeks or months before she can get knocked up again.

  • My wife had C-sections so it took a few weeks before we could resume having sex. Maybe 5 or 6 weeks if I remember correctly. We had3 kids in 3 years an 3 months.

  • I mean technically. Usually it takes a few weeks for things to heal down there

  • Uhh, yeah.

  • It's only like 6 weeks you're not supposed to have sex.

  • FROM MY WIFE'S DOCTOR KNOW THEY CANNOT

  • Every women has different timing.

    • It’s all up to women I did early after birth

  • Yes but have to wait a few weeks before you have sex

  • I don’t know

  • 3 months of birth

  • Can't have sex aprox. 1.5-2 months after birth.

  • Not for 2 months, I guess

  • She can have sex a few days later; but it would be best to use some contraceptive until a few weeks ago by.

  • They can i they up to it depending on natural or c section
