Can you still get pregnant using spermicide and birth control together?

Me and my boyfriend love having sex and trying new things. My biggest turn on when watching porn is having the guy cum inside of the girl. I’ve never done that yet but my boyfriend decided to get spermicide and I just wanted opinions on the effectiveness on it. Has anyone tried it? I really want him to cum inside me because its just super hot. Im also on birth control. Do you think its safe or no?

  • So I understand what ur saying & I love fucking skin on skin & cumming inside her but I do worry about her getting knocked up. I have used spermicide before and came inside of her many times and at the time she wasn’t on birth control. Honestly it hurt me a little when I came because that means it was doing it’s job, but I recommend that u keep track of your fertility calendar and know when ur most likely to become pregnant so around those dates/times u don’t let him cum inside of u so that way u help prevent ur chances of getting knocked up. Hopefully I was able to help u. Lol. 🙂

  • When using spermicide, it's best to use another form of birth control along with it. Yes, most of the time spermicide will work alone, but any time you are having sex, you can get pregnant. Even being on the pill faithfully, doesn't give 100% protection.

    • I misread your post. Yes, the two together should be effective. However, again, nothing is 100% at preventing pregnancy. There is always some risk of pregnancy.

  • If you’re on birthcontrol you don’t need the spermicide, so yeah the two of those combined are effective but not necessary. I’ll tell you a little something, a lot of women get vaginal irritations or even yeast infections, because spermicide is literally a chemical that will throw your PH balance off. If you ditch the spermicide and only take oral contraceptives you’ll be fine as well.

  • Safe yes. Doubling up on birth control is smart. Both methods would have to fail at the same time to get pregnant. The odds of that happening are slim to none.

  • No contraception is 100%

  • Yeah its fine.

  • A few of my friends use a brand of spermicide that is purportedly as effective as hormonal birth control just by itself.
But it is not the most convenient thing to use.

  • It's possible but highly unlikely. FWIW taking antibiotics or other medication can interfere with birth control pills

  • Yes nothing's 100% the only way you cannot get pregnant is don't do it

  • Even condoms can fail. If you want to try it without go ahead. This advice does not constitute advice. Viewer discretion is advised.

  • if you one birth control you shouldn't need the spermicide
