Can you watch Game of Thrones and avoid sex scenes?

My boyfriend has watched the show and said he skipped all the sex scenes and nudity. From everywhere that I've read about the show.. it seems virtually impossible. I want to try it out but I am not comfortable with TONS of sex and nudity. Is it possible to skip these things easily?

I guess, but it's your loss, my ex and I loved watching it together.
The sexual parts are sometimes a important part of the story.
Including a rape early in the story.
They provide context and sets the mood.
Doesn't mean that there isn't a bit much sometimes.

  My boyfriend watched it by himself and we had sexual problems during that time.. i didn't know it was as sexual as it was. But when i look back at that time. Knowing this now. Kinda makes me upset

  That im not enough. I just had our baby. So i have a ton of stretch marks and I've always had a low opinion of myself. Plus sexual abuse. So i assume that men are conditional and have no regard for respect or morality. They just see what they like and they want it and thats all that matters in that moment.

  I'm sorry to hear that. Regarding you not being enough, do you feel that way when he jerks off to? Regarding those stretch marks I'm fairly certain that he loves them and you both. They're a part of you and your history. Of who you are and they're beautiful in their own way to anyone loving *you* because of that. He might get turned on by those other women, but it's *you* that he decided to settle down with and have a child with. The male brain is put together in such a way that sex is a *need* not just a desire. Lower ranked then air but higher then food and roughly on par with water. That's evolution in action. Men spread their genes through sex and young men often had a low chance to survive long enough to reproduce back when humans evolved so having a high sex drive was selected for. But at the same time we looked after our mates and our children. We like some variety as spreading our genes to as many women as possible increased the chance that at least one of them had the genes to survive to adulthood. But that doesn't diminish his attraction and love for you, you know. *You* are the only one he *choose* to invest all of that time and energy and emotions into.

You would miss out on a lot on the context of the show, could get some one to ”edit” a copy for you or just fast forward past it? Just depends how offended you are seeing the images?

  Ah well if you watch it alone you could get more comfortable and desensitized to the scenes, you would mis out seeing a great show with hot guys and girls in it haha fast forwarding might be the easiest option

Sometimes I fast forward through sex scenes. I think too many sex scenes is annoying and lazy writing, get me back to the actual plot

you can if you just hit fast forward whenever they come on. but sometimes you won't know because a scene might be really sexy, but end up NOT showing any nudity.
