Sexual Health Hi,
Im changing from Dianette to Yasmin pill. Would start Yasmin straight away after finishing Dianette pack instead of taking pill free period or take a four day break?
I assume protection is the same?

it says- Changing from a combination hormonal contraceptive, or combination contraceptive vaginal ring or patch: You can start Yasmin preferably on the day after the last active tablet (the last tablet containing the active substances) of your previous pill, but at the latest on the day after the tablet-free days of your previous pill (or after the last inactive tablet of your previous pill). When changing from a combination contraceptive vaginal ring or patch, follow the advice of your doctor. I assume im protected?
What has your Doctor/GP recommended you should do?
I can take the 4 day break or start yasmin straight away after finishing dianette pack. I think i might start yasmin straight away as im taking 7 day break with dianette and never had a 4 day break before
@killatoorxo That sounds like an excellent idea... I trust you're not going to be sexually active during this break.
What you mean? I usually have a 7 day break which is due next week
A seven day break from what exactly? The placebo pill?
@killatoorxo Having now just read the information you've given to @SnakeBoop I too would assume that you're fully covered/protected.
