Circumcision changes?

Have you noticed how dry circumcision makes the penis or is it just from my anecdotal experience with mine? Going from uncircumcised to circumcised I've definitely noticed big changes to the head of the penis especially with dryness and texture changes. In your experience has this been the case?

  • All circumcised guys seem to have dry tips since there is no protection keeping it moist

    • Have been struggling with it ever since circumcision tbh

    • That sucks 😕

    • Yeah that’s okay though, happens to a lot of people at least I got to experience what an intact penis was like for 20 odd years. Just have to accept the dryness and try to see past it

  • Why on earth would you get circumcised by choice 😵

    • I thought it was the right decision at the time and didn't realise it would carry so many negatives with it. I had a tight frenulum and medically recommended to get it removed/tightened and the surgeon recommended circumcision whilst I was at the same day consultation. Definitely has positives and negatives but there are some real negatives

    • I see. In that case If it was necessary. It makes sense that it would be dry. Every guy I've known circumcised has looked very dry. I'd recommend not using soap on that area specifically and using a moisturizer like aquaphor.

    • Not using soap might be a good idea, is that moisturiser used instead of a soap? If so I’ll check it out that seems good

  • Your question begs the question? If you are REALLY 24, at what age were you circumcised? I know for a fact, that circumcision as an adult is a NIGHTMARE' experience, as I have seen men in a military hospital, that had been 'cut' as an adult, and it was 'WORSE' than having a tonsillectomy as an adult.

If the above is true, you must have had some good reason to go through circumcision as an adult?

That said/asked, if the glans is covered by all of that foreskin, then OF COURSE, you would not have any 'moisture' trapped by the foreskin, and OF COURSE, the skin would be somewhat 'drier'. I am/was circumcised as a baby and have NEVER had any of the 'alleged' problems, alluded to by those men that are not cut.

I will not debate the issue of cut/uncut with anyone, you included, and just stating my position on the subject. Those that want to argue should look elsewhere

  • Yes. I was circumcised at birth and most of my penis head has desensitized unfortunately. Probably from dry masturbating.

  • When I started keeping my foreskin retracted at all times, I was aware of the dryness. After time, I got used to it. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

  • Yes this is the case because the foreskin has oils that keep the skin moister than that of a cut penis.

  • Of course a circumcision changes the penis. That's the point of it.
But I don't notice any negative changes, only positive ones. I'm happy with my circumcision.

  • Fuck it is just a penis dude. Jeez!

    • Hey have a little sympathy and respect will ya? If the roles had been reversed and you said my clitoris is dry? Others wouldn’t put you down for that. Remember the golden rule. Also what if it was your boyfriend or husband with that problem? You definitely would care because when the penis has a problem, it becomes a problem for both of you when you have sex.
