Condoms or the pill?

What would you chose any why? I don't have intercourse often.. so I feel condoms are easier, but I don't think guys like condoms..

  • Use both pill and the guy also has to use the condom. When only one protects him/herself then when the barrier fails, well, you know what comes after that... It is very important for both to protect themselves. Yes some condoms are irritable, but is worth it not to have children, and also the pill has some annoying effects so this way you both suffer together. Ohh and just a little something, my mother got pregnant twice while on the pill. Don't mean to scare you, but I just want you to know that the pill is not that effective alone.

  • As a guy, condoms while useful, take a certain feeling away. Sometimes it even impacts performance depending on your state, lol. I prefer the girl to be on the pill, but some girls can have side effects from birth control so you work with what you can. Not to mention, intercourse without a condom feels better in my opinion.

  • I use the pill.
I use solely the pill because.. lower user error in comparison to the condom. It doesn't leave me with an allergic reaction that I suspect is caused from the latex in condoms, hence making sex painful for me when my boyfriend wraps it up. Plus, you can't beat the intimacy that feeling him finish inside you brings as we both collapse in a post-orgasmic bliss.

  • I started out like you... not having sex very often. Most times I made sure he used a condom but there were times we didn't. After a few sleepless nights after not having one I decided that it would be safer if I were on the pill.

  • Condoms for one night stands, first times or non-relationship hookups. A more permanent birth control afterwards, once you've established he's clean. I'm not a fan of the pill, so I'm planning to get a copper IUD.

  • I gotta say both! You can never be too careful! If you have to choose one, it should be the condoms though to protect from STD's

  • In your case, I'd choose condoms. This way you can avoid the disadvantages to your physical health that the pill causes.

  • Both! Pill for birth control and condoms for STDs.

  • Both

  • Both. No way in hell I'm gonna get pregnant. The pill isn't fool proof and neither are condoms. Better safe than sorry

    • Have you ever go with one of the two though? :D

    • @Gramer I always combine methods. If no condom then at the very least, pulling out. But my boyfriend and I are usually well prepared and almost always have condoms.

    • I guess have you ever had an unexpected result so that's why you are so cautious? :D

  • Condoms help to protect you from STDs and STIs

  • Pills are better for an serious relationship, after you both had checked.

  • Both are okay better be safe thn sorry hehe

    • You've tried with one though? :D

  • Definitely both. Condoms might not be the most comfortable thing but neither is a baby crying at 3am.

  • Definitely use both.

  • BOTH of course & anything else to prevent turning life into babycare
before a career is established to insulate you from the real poverty out there
    What the guys like
is so inconsequential to this consequence, considering how few can really take care of it adequately
that they should be grateful they are getting type of sex at all... and usually for free, with a clean gal

  • Neither. I'm not a ho.

    • Cool

  • If you don't have sex often then condoms are best. First, they protect against STIs, birth control pills don't, and second they have no side effects, birth control pills do. Third, he he doesn't like condoms, tell him to pound sand.

  • Condoms break

  • I prefer both simultaneusly. Both dont have 100% effectiveness and even condoms can break, so I always use a condom and my SO takes the pill

  • Condoms protects from STDs too

  • you thought right. Women rarely use female condoms why should we? lol

  • relying on the pill is the preferred option.
