Could multiple canker sores indicate cheating?

A year ago, my boyfriend and I were in a long distance relationship. I had suspicions that he was cheating on me. He wouldn't answer his phone for hours at a time, he would always get very defensive when asked what he was doing or who he was with, etc. But since he lived two hours away, I could not have any idea of who he knew or what he was doing.. i let it go eventually, but he would come home on the weekends and I would give him blowjobs, have sex, etc. And I would always get these weird sores in my mouth afterwards.. they were canker sores, but they were large and it would take them a week or two to heal.. I would also get pimples around my mouth. My boyfriend is home now and I have mysteriously stopped getting these pimples and sores. I know it wasn't herpes, because I don't get the sores in my mouth anymore and he never had anything suspicious on his penis.. but my boyfriend isn't the most hygienic person, so maybe I was getting the canker sores and pimples around my mouth because he had bacteria on his penis from another girl? Pimples are caused by bacteria and I would believe that canker sores are too. The canker sores were large and would last for weeks. And I haven't gotten them since boyfriend returned home.. is this a possible sign of cheating? I have asked him about cheating and he gets defensive and he will never tell me, even if he did. I have nobody to ask either, because he lived so far away. I don't know any of the people he was around.. please help. Why dont I get these sores anymore? Like I said, was bacteria from another girl causing these sores and pimples? If so, he must've slept with a disgusting bitch..

  • Its hard to be sure, Def get tested.
    But in terms of cheating.
Well STD's can be dormant in the body for a long time before any symptoms show up. So a person can pass it on to a partner without even knowing they have it and it might have come from a past relationship or something like that. Its unlikely its from poor hygiene if you didn't notice any bad smells or poor skin or anything like that.
Basically you should keep a clear open head, go to the Dr and get tested and then see what you think after you have results.

    • The sores were inside my mouth though. And my boyfriend never had sores on his penis or hismouth

    • If he went to the doctor secretly and got something to help him with this, could this be why I suddenly stopped getting them when he returned home?

    • Possibly But its all guesswork really.

  • You don't know if you have herpes unless you get tested. You sound like you have cold sores not canker sores. I would suggest worrying about the bigger picture which is that you could have a STD you can't get rid of. Please get tested and don't play the guessing game with diseases if you are not a doctor. It's obvious he is cheating. I hope you take care of yourself. Good luck. 👍😇

    • Get tested. There literally isn't anymore questions to ask. And you obviously don't know anything about herpes. Please Google it. You can still spread it even without an outbreak. Herpes is inside and outside the body. Just because you haven't had a break out in a while doesn't mean you won't. What are schools for. Geez 🤦🤦🤦

  • Are they definitely canker sores?

If so, that isn't indicative of anything like that. Though, stress can cause them in some people.

  • I'm no expert on the different Herpes viruses so I'd do some research or ask a doctor or dentist. I can tell you that if you'll get a prescription for Acyclovir, it'll knock the canker sores down pretty quickly and really help with the pain.
