Could the Bible have been written by Satan?

Deuteronomy 22:28: “If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, 29 he must pay fifty shekels to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.”

Judges 19:24: “Look, here is my virgin daughter, and his concubine. I will bring them out to you now, and you can use them and do to them whatever you wish.”

Numbers 31:17: “Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.“

Ephesians 6:5: “Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear and sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.”

  • Just as the Koran and Hadith have many cultural practices interwoven in the scripture, the Bible (especially old testament) does have things that seem abhorrent to modern people.

However, it's important to take the things into context.

Deuteronomy 22- This is actually a better way of punishing rape than prison/ killing them. When a man rapes a woman he drastically diminishes her chance of getting married, as other men will want a virgin (even in modern times women who are raped are often rejected by their partners- not saying it's moral/ ethical, but this does occur, and it's important to make rules based on reality). This rule is essentially saying that if you take the bridal treasure, you have to accept the bridal price. I'm not sure how well it played out in practice, but if they put the guy in jail or killed him the girl would still be diminished in the eyes of future men, and likely be single for life, or relegated to prostitution.

Judges 19- Many men chosen by God were given tests of their faith, including those involving their children. In nearly every case a showing of ones willingness to sacrifice their children in favor of following God is rewarded by the children being spared.

Numbers 31- It was very common in Ancient times to wipe out a people completely in this way, as it is for other primates after warfare (Kill/ drive off males, kill children, and keep the females for future propagation). While this isn't ethical, it's the most effective to ensuring future peace. As Robert Greene puts it, "annihilate your enemy entirely," leaving remnants of the vanquished can only cause problems in the future, and future conflict. The fact that we didn't completely wipe out the Indigenous people resulted in funding we must continue to spend supporting them, as well as political movements advocating for the return of their land long after the war ended.

Ephesians 6- Again, a reflection of the times, but the term slaves/ servants is just another term for employees. I'm not saying that modern day employment is slavery, but it's very similar. You work for someone else in order to get food and shelter. Approaching it with a good attitude begets a stable society.

None of these scriptures point to something Satan would wish for; although, you could anachronistically believe them immoral. They advocate faith, sacrifice, and the embracing of your lot in life, as well as practical advice for a people during bad times. They give guidelines for the real world, divorced from the luxury we currently have to live presume that without power and past violence things would all be happy and peaceful.

    • Wow what a horrible person you are. I think you’re actually better than this.

    • Imagine being you: fat, weak, and never holding an original thought in your head; yet, comfortable in your deluded pretentious state- as you speak with from your industrial-produced chair- that you are fit to be some sort of moral arbiter worthy of casting judgement on a religious text... You stand on the shoulders of giants, yet have the audacity to judge them unworthy.

    • Oh I judge everyone as we all should. No one is above judging, including your ugly god.

  • Let's face the plain fact that the Bible is a compilation of very different more or less inspired texts written by humans who tried to put some moral and practical order in a society. Some of the verses you mention are nevertheless taken out of their context and must be understood in relation to the complete text and the customs and historical period they were written in.

If Devil there is, then it is in people using verses of the Bible, the Coran, the Talmud, or any other Holy book, to divide communities and societies by creating hate and wars. The original aim of such texts is most probably to create some cohesion among people.

    • So was it inspired or are the ideas theirs?

    • What is inspiration man? Artists undergo that phenomenon, but no one knows how it works. I'm convinced that the most inspired text were the result of meditation. Up to you to attribute those result to whom or what you believe. God? Nature? Evolution? Not really important to know for sure. There is a mystery about the phenomenon called inspiration. There is evidence for its existence, but the origin escapes us.

  • These books (mainly in the Old Testament) were written before the coming of Christ; when the world was flourishing with sin and Jesus came to die for all their sins. Ever notice how there's a huge difference between the old and new testments?

    • So the Ten Commandments aren’t important huh?

    • No no, The Old Testament tells the story up until the time that Jesus arrived. The Ten Commandments are active all throughout the bible including the New Testament. Therefore, they are very important.

    • And Exodus and the other 600 laws are god’s laws too, aren’t they? Just as important. Also the New Testament: “Slaves obey your masters even the cruel ones.”

  • Interesting 🤔 Whoever comes forward first and claims ownership of the manu-script I guess. Other than that it was human.

  • certainly. no god is as cruel as the writers of the bible, but men playing god would be

  • No, just people.

  • The Bible was wrote, trough different times and different authors. All of them inspired by God. The latter you can interpret religiously, or from an astrological stand point, as: made fully by man, inspired their religious belief and societal values.

    • anthropological*****

    • Wait it’s inspired by god or societal values?

  • those quotations are out of context

    • This question is out of context. He asked this already months before, and only satan knows how many times he asked this without me seeing it.

      So I offered some information.
There is now LGBT shit popping up in ancient bibles, like supernaturally the ones in your homes. There is "moon walking and "the LORD shall beat off" and something like "lock the unicorn in your barn", "hallelujah" is wiped from the kjv bible as well as anything related to "demon". It calls baby jesus "the holy thing" who is consulting doctors in the temple rather than preaching some gospel, has a "dumb ass" and the LORD shaving pubic hair with a razor. Tons more.

Could the Bible have been written by Satan?

And that is printed on the KJV books with the last modification couple hundred years ago.

So... we already know that satanists own the government. We also know that religion is used to control people and the same masons absolutely did get the bible to where it is today.

    • Also from the mainstream Christian point of view... first of all there is no way to convince a mainstream christian of these Mandela effect bible changes EVEN IF you show them a video of the same bible saying different things. Because they don't believe their eyes, nor their own brain, as they read the bible every fucking day and don't see thousands of these absurd changes, they're enslaved by the church. Anyway if you get a christian to see it, they accuse satan of doing these changes, or CERN having fallen angel technology to do it, the great signs and wonders prophesied about. Honsetly this is better than thinking we are shifting stupid timelines, which is causing it. But still why would their loving god allow the devil to do this? And many more questions led to the conclusion that the creator himself is doing these changes, as well as the other changes in pop culture to wake everyone up to us living in a complete different reality than we are told about.

    • lol so true

  • Nobody knows who wrote the bible. However, it seems likely that Satan didn't really exist although he might have existed and written the bible. Nobody knows.
