NO, NO and NO. My parents never allow me or any of my siblings walk freely naked in home. It is a part of our Indian, and family culture. I and my husband live separate in different town after our marriage from our parents because of his job. We enjoy “no cloths day” occasionally on holidays. We carefully keep the door shut, and windows curtained. We are for each other, but no third person should see us in total natural state. This is what we both take care of. My parents were pretty strict about the cloths and dress code. They always purchased designer and modern cloths for us, but keeping in mind family culture, social beliefs and where and why we will be wearing them. It was fine with us being naked in the house when we were very young, say small kids, but not in presence of any non-family guests. I did not think that was at all unusual, and found out that most of families do not give themselves and their kids that much freedom. When I was matured – after age of say 16, I was given separate bedroom. I was studying Science, so I was also studying human anatomy. My adolescent and all these factors led me to be naked in my room whenever I was alone, and the door closed, but never in presence of any person. India is a different country; we have different family culture, social culture and believe about dressing and presenting in public. Nudity is not accepted in any form. Fact is that since I left our parental home, after marriage with my husband for his job, I am usually naked at home in his presence. But when our children will grow – I will follow the same strict discipline in my home. My body is my asset, and it is totally made for my husband. He can have me in any form, and the same thing is for him, - he is totally made for me only. Not even our kids will see us naked.

Wow, this is a strange question from a woman to ask… No, we were always a wearing clothes type of family. I mean when I wanted to sunbathe topless by our own pool, the only way I was allowed was first by saying that I would just go my friend’s house and do it, if they would not let me, and second my dad got a screen that I had to pull out to cover the back sliding glass door, so my brother or dad would not be able to see! I guess the majority of normal families don’t want to see their kids walking around naked.
1 0 0 0Wait, I wanted to correct something, it was nude sunbathing, not just topless, although I usually only sunbathe topples! But I still have to use the screen!

1 1 0 0We did too when we were younger... had 2 brothers she was ok with at least that... didn't know whay if snything we had under it
We all wore clothes around the house, but I've heard nudist families do it differently. I think it could be a problem with young males in the home... but if everyone was always living nudist lifestyle, it might feel normal.. MIght shock others, though.
0 2 0 0I was never stopped I was spoiled brat growing up my dad pretty much didn’t say anything unless I was getting in trouble out side the house.
1 2 0 0Were you only child?
I wouldn’t know. I never did it and never wanted to.
0 0 0 0Nope. My parents would have never allowed me to freely walk around while naked or in my bras and underwear. They were too uptight and fundamentalist to allow that sort of thing.
I haven't lived at home for exactly ten years now and I've walked around my various apartments and homes while naked/topless/in bras and thongs, etc. since then, without shame and persecution.0 3 0 0Well.. some family are like nudist which is fine. But for me I find it rude like if I do it personally lol so I don’t ever. I’m sure they expect me to put some clothes on. If I’m in my room tho ofc no one sees or cares lol. It’s jus awkward too and what if there’s guests. I don't know jus yea not my thing.
1 4 0 0Thats cool we are same way i have kids your age they are ok with it
My parents haven’t prohibited me anything that doesn’t have a reason like what’s the matter if you are hot and don’t wear pants? Or you are exercising and go around with just a bra on? And naked I guess they’d let me but I don’t see a reason to do that, it’s embarrassing
1 0 0 0I walked around in a sports bra a lot. Sometimes in my underwear as well. My mom never cared but my dad would tell me to put some clothes on. I never listened lol and would always come back with "it covers more than a swimsuit." He eventually got used to it.
I'm not sure why you're getting a lot of negative feedback from this question, especially involving families sexualizing each other. Because in my family that was never an issue. Opposing genders inside a family unit shouldn't be assumed to have any sexual feelings for each other. If wearing underwear around each other makes your family sexually uncomfortable, that's when there is a problem, just saying.1 7 0 0Growing up we had to have clothes on wasn’t even allowed to leave the bathroom after a shower without putting clothes on. But I really enjoy being naked in my room. What’s my kids it was the same way although one of my sons never really liked clothes. He’s kind of a free spirit. He always take his diaper off and clothes off when he was outside. We lost so many socks and shirts because we didn’t know where he took his clothes off. Then when he got older in his teen years I’d catch him walking around the house but naked with no shame. that boy really has nothing to be ashamed of if you know what I mean girls 😉lol. but It was very annoying Having to tell my teenage boy to at least put a pair of boxers on.
1 0 0 0When I started wearing bras there were a young teenage boy in the house too :P (my brother), so I never considered doing that. Before my boobs came I would be in my panties if it was very warm or so, like when we were on beach vacation. I guess I would be allowed to, but I would not want it in front of male family members in general.
