The reason for this is male sperm travels slower than female sperms and therefore the penis needs to be inserted closer to the cervix to improve the chances of the male sperm from reaching the egg.
it's true to an extent
the male sperms (with y chromosome) have higher motility so they swim faster. but the faster swimming also means faster expiration... so they aren't able to fertilize an egg as long.
so while a male sperm may swim faster it doesn't actually increase the chances of fertiliziing as the Y-chromosome swimmers "die" faster. HOWEVER, when a woman is ovulating and thus more fertile the Y-Chromosome swimmers can arrive faster and since the woman is most fertile are those better able to fertilize the egg
so the correlation between a man with a larger penis being more likely to have male offspring is more that his Y swimmers have a better chance of reaching and fertilizing the egg vs a man with a smaller penis because his y-swimmers are more likely to die or not have the juice to fertilize the egg... but there is little science to show statistics and likelihood so the chances of odss aren't really clear
... and what's the deal with the gif?
The guy is a BBC.
More importantly, who's the girl in your gif, QA? lol!
more likely - maybe, but its not for sure and its totalky irrelevant. if you want to make a girl/boy on purpose, you should focus on the time of the month (girl's ovulation etc.). Even that is not sure, but its as close as you can get, I'd say about 90%
Lol you do realize that the male and female sperm come out of the same penis right? Therefore "inserting it closer to the cervix" doesn't change the odds.
You do know I hope, that females do not have sperm, they do in fact have eggs.
Who said females had sperm?
"gender is determined by chromosome characteristics - and it will be the male (or rather the male's sperm) that dictates whether the baby will be a boy or a girl. Prior to conception, the unfertilized egg carries an X chromosome while the sperm can carry either an X or a Y chromosome. The gender of the baby comes down to one simple event: If the sperm carrying an X chromosome fertilizes the egg, a girl will be conceived. If the sperm carrying a Y chromosome fertilizes the egg, a boy will be conceived."
