Did you know you can't travel to some countries with a sex toy?

So I was going to ask the question but looked it up instead and found this

  • It would be embarrassing, for a girl to be brought before a judge and the court, on charges of having a vibrator or large dildo. As the prosecutor holds up the dildo, before the court, and enters it into evidence, and all those around look at her with shaming eyes, and hushed tones. Not exactly a good vacation. So don't take them to Malaysia, Thailand and the Maldives. I'm a little surprised about Thailand, as it at least used to have an active pedophile industry. Perhaps they have finally cleaned up their act.

  • you will be fine going to benidorm ;)

    • Pahahaha

    • there is a museum in hull where there is a huge poster as you go in showing an x ray of a suitcase and un noticed by many there is a vibrater on it. always makes me laugh

    • Haha I've seen things like this in films I didn't think to take it until just now... I had a holiday romance in a few places but 4 nights might be cutting it a bit close you know lol

  • My boyfriend and I traveled to Thailand, and there is no place to by sex toys.
Thailand is the largest brothel in the world, but you can't buy sex toys! LOL

But that doesn't mean you can't smuggle them in. And if they catch you, they won't do shit about it.
At most they will confiscate the toy and take it home for the wife.

My boyfriend bought a vibrator from another tourist. It was brand new, still in the plastic casing. It was pricey, but it's all about supply and demand.

  • Yes, I did know what. As it's not something we typically take with us, however, I'd pretty much forgotten about it.

  • It's not something I've had cause to think about but it doesn't surprise me. Different places have different cultural norms and it is important to educate yourself about them before you get there. When I was a kid, I remember visiting Malaysia, where a couple of Australians had recently been executed for smuggling heroin and noticed that on the sign in the airport identifying prohibited items, Xerox machines were listed first, before narcotics, weapons, etc.

  • What about condoms

  • U get busted lol

  • As long as you don't use it to kill someone, I think is up to you whether to bring it with you or not...

    • Pahaha that's funny

    • I don't know what are you meant to use it for... but I don't think it's a problem... at most the men at the x-ray at the airport control will have a laugh when see it

    • Well you know exactly what it's for...

  • You can either use your fingers whilst on holiday or buy a new toy from there to add to the collection

    • Nah that's alright thanks

  • Wow. I have never even seen a sex toy before, let alone transporting one.

    • It's just a basic vibrator.

  • Really the Maldives? Wow. Isn't that like a couple's paradise?

  • Hmm, good to know! I'll have to remember to do some research before going over seas!

  • So in Thailand you can pay a ladyboy to fuck your ass but have a vibrating bit of plastic and its jail time. Makes sense
