I’ve been on the pill since I was 17 and have considered stopping or changing birth control because I wonder what effects it would have. Like, would my emotions change? My mental health? Would my stomach issues get better or worse? Would I have more energy? And it’s caused a couple of physical non-serious health issues too. So it would be nice to hear people’s experiences!
But I don’t know if I could come off it because I do not want to get pregnant, I don’t want kids and also I take it every day so I don’t get periods because they were really bad before.0 0 0 0Yeah it’s a hard path to choose. I finally came off of it and sticking to just condoms. I hate them sooo much but I also hated who I was on birth control.

I never even started taking it because it just does harm your body more than anything else. It upsets your entire system and you notice it yourself how it has negatively impacted you.
Furthermore, birth control pills are known to potentially have very serious side effects leading to paralysis. Why take any unnecessary risks if you can avoid them?
Pregnancy protection is not solely the duty of women and men also should be responsible at least 50% of the time for avoided accidents that would potentially lead to murdering of the fetus or unwanted children. Unfortunately, men believe that contraception is solely a woman's duty.1 0 0 0

(5)I have had to stop and start when I switched. I did notice a difference in many ways. My period, naturally, was way worse.
That was the whole reason I started taking it. It was not for the purpose of avoiding pregnancy, it was because my periods were so terrible.
I also noticed that I didn't feel as bloated all the time. Unfortunately, it is a necessity for me and I'm still on it until I want to start a family.1 0 0 0i will once menopause hits me XD
1 0 0 0I've only ever taken birth control for 3 months and hated it. Haven't used it since then and no plans on ever using it again
1 1 0 0I was on it since I was 16 or so. I took it constantly. No sugar pills or nothing. The only period I had was if I missed a pill😅
I have an IUD and mine was never affected
1 0 0 0Higher sex drive, less weight gain, fewer mood swings. I feel much better off it. The only problem is we’re basically just pulling out right now, which isn’t a long term solution, so I’m looking into the copper IUD.
