Superb Opinion

  • I got some details. Mostly it was about the sex act and pregnancy and the need to use protection everytime which I really appreciated. But there was never any talk about masturbation which is weird cause we all do it and some discover it on their own or from friends or porn

    • I was masturbating when I was 4 and five years old—long before my parents might have talked about it.

  • My mom was a nurse on the mother/baby unit for our local hospital. She sat us (my 2 brothers and I) down when we were very young and explained everything about the male and female reproductive systems. When we got to be around 10 or 11 then it was sex talk time. She was very open about everything and would answer any questions we had and even bought condoms when we were older to have at the house in case we ever needed them.

  • No they didn't. When I was a kid, my mum only told me to never let anyone touch my private parts. I wasn't allowed to date and I used to believe that kissing a boy could get me pregnant. It was only when I was 17 that I understood the real meaning of sexual intercourse. I was shocked to see photos of naked people because I thought no one ever got naked in front of a camera.

I am not going to do this to my children.

    • @babygirl_s sounds like very conservative family.

    • No, this is normal in my country

    • @babygirl_s which country you belongs to?

  • When I was not yet in kindergarten, I was tasked with watching heifers to see if any of them were in heat and ready to be inseminated. Topics related to sex and reproduction were part of my very earliest education.
