Dildo left in hotel room?

My girlfriend & I went away for a couple nights to a small town up north from where we live. We usually take some sex toys with us for some fun. Dildos, etc. Usually we put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door when we leave because of the short stay but forgot to this time. Needless to say we left a vibrator and large dildo out on the counter near our stuff. Housekeeping came in and cleaned the room. It didn’t look like they messed with anything but could we have gotten in trouble for leaving sex toys out where they’re visable? We didn’t ask or anything just checked out after our stay.

If it's illegal where you live, you could get in trouble in theory.
But why should the cleaning stuff care about these things? If they report these things they got all the extra hassle with it and it's probably not rare for them to find these things in rooms. So it's highly unlikely they would be willing to do anything about it, and may even risk trouble with their management.

I am sure the housekeeping staff have seen things like that before, so I doubt they would say anything. They probably laughed a bit and moved on with their duties.
The only problem you might encounter is if you were in a backwards thinking state or country and the housekeeper did say something, then I would worry.

I'm pretty sure finding some sex toys in the room is the least of the cleaning staff's worries. Chances are they have seen a lot worse. I wouldn't sweat it.

That's nothing. When I was a kid, my family & I were staying in a nice hotel where you would expect the house keeping service to do a really good job. Nope, my dad stepped out of bed & stepped onto a used condom. So unless it fell under the bed, you should be good LOL!
