Do black men refuse to give oral sex?

I was curious why so many rap songs brag how he doesn’t go down.

  • So many nonsensical stereotypes and generalizations, I dont even know where to start.
I guess rap music isn't exactly what you want to base a people of a certain skin color on. Just because one of them say they don't like something or that they do like something, definitely does not mean anyone else feels the same way.
I mean perspective is important in EVERYTHING. Just like in this, if they brag about it, they probably feel like they're dominant and giving head is submissive. Honestly i feel like if I can make a woman unable to move with the power of my tongue, I'm incredibly dominant and she was beaten by a tongue.
I just like when the woman I'm with and care about is in So much pleasure because of me. Doesn't matter how, so long as she is. Going down, penetrative, other kinks, whatever.
We're all different and we all feel differently about everything. That's it basically.

  • It is a well known stereotype. I would say there is truth to it the same way it'd difficult to be black and gay in a lot of communities and they tend to be more religious. But it's hip hop/rap culture not being black.

    • Thank you for your insight.

  • You're generalizing. Just like with everyone some give oral and some don't. It's a preference thing not a race thing

    • I’m asking, not stating. 😘

    • By asking do all that's generalizing that you believe all of then don't.

    • I could have written “What is the cultural component influencing so many rappers to include lyrics that seem to denigrate performing oral sex on women?” True. But nobody would read or answer that question.

  • WTF? I think you are on the wrong site of rap there. In general, I'd reconsider listening to any music that is just about the artist bragging about himself...

    • I dig all music, brother.

    • I understand your point, but as a musician, if I was to brag about myself, I'd rather talk about things that I enjoy doing rather than my fear of the taste of vaginas... There is so much good music in any genre that I'd consider listening to that stuff a waste of time.

    I don't. I'm down there so much I have a timeshare. . . .

  • Nope

  • It links to afro carrabion culture it's seen as nasty from most that if know and when I have asked

    • But as most things always a exception to the rule and it's only mostly prevalent with afro carrabion so black males as a whole still has a 50/50 chance

    • Why is it seen as nasty? And are blowjobs considered nasty too?

    • No there not I believe it's to do with its there a women has a periods and other things that don't make that much sence

    • Show All
  • no. usaly like

  • I wasn't aware of that, but I'm not into rsp

  • I have dated black women and perhaps that which they did not expect was energetic, competent oral sex. Neither had experienced it before I came along. Both had urgent orgasms and did not hesitate to ask for it every time we were together. I asked your question to both and their answers were the same.
Culturally, black men look at sex as conquering/vanquishing women. Ride 'em til they are sore and can't walk straight. Figuratively consensual rape. Oral sex, ideally eager but nurturing, is looked at as submissive; serving women rather than "taking" them. Showing both OMG! orgasms was very much part of the pleasure and my short round did not matter.

    • There’s no such thing as consensual rape, man.

    • F I G U R A T I V E L Y

  • because thats how black males are!

    • Says who?
