I find most grandparents who claim they saved themselves for marriage back in the day are mostly full of shit. The vast majority who claim they did - did not.

I know a lot of christian girls are still heavily influenced by the now older on avg church going generation with moral ideas they had back in 1950's and 60's - but there are certainly many christian girls at the Catholic school across from my high school back in the day a decade ago who are still chritian - but do not worry about the taboo of if they have pre-marital sex or not anymore. With sexual education and access to good contraception - as long as they stay safe and responsible - I dont see any problems with guys and girls having pre-marital sex with their partners in school as long as both want to explore together and are of age to consent legally depending on that countries/states/provinces laws where that individual is from, and in line with that individuals preference to do so.
And if some choose to wait until they are der and more wrinlkly to start having sex in their 40s/50s to stsrt expriencing that (which I certainly would not understand why you would want to chose to wait - but that is the individuals right to chose I feel always) that is no problem too.
Others like monks or priests may always abstain if they feel good just gave them hormones to test their faith - thats their choice.
