I prefer compliments that aren't "Sexy" based... in other words... I don't like "hot" but I do like to be called handsome or even good-looking. I can do without the compliments all together, but I just never liked words like sexy or hot, or such. don't know why, just don't. My favorite compliments, however, are when a girl says (extensively, and usually laughing or with a smile) that a particular feature (like a smile or personality mark) makes them smile or such. Even if its not a direct compliment, the obvious implication seems a little more genuine and heartfelt to me.

Any heartfelt compliment is good, but I prefer to be complimented for behavior or achievement rather than appearance.

While I like complimenting a girl on appearance (because it has been more important to the women I've dated than it is to me), I also appreciate and let her know that I care about her other qualities.

Meh, I question compliments too much, I never really believe it and as nobody 21 says, depends who says it, if someone you don't like or aren't interested in says it, that's kind of awkward.

Yeah I like being called hot. I also like being called cute (but sometimes that meaning is not always in the attractive sense), handsome, good-looking, sexy, gorgeous etc. I've been called all those things before. Girls have even called me pretty before LOL.

But the thing with me is when girls called me those words I didn't genuinely believe it so I would thought nothing of it.
