  • This is really an individual thing.

    Some guys prefer to be in control (that's me, for example). Other guys definitely prefer the girl to be in control. Others prefer to take turns, and still others prefer that you are both equals.

    All of those are legitimate viewpoints, but it also means that not every girl is going to be compatible with every guy. For example, as a dominant myself, I naturally attract submissive women, but I sometimes also attract girls who are "switches" or who are "neutrals/equals", and it's going to be more difficult for me to be compatible with those women - and I have NO compatibility with women who are themselves dominant.

    Whatever YOU are, you have to find a guy you are compatible with. That could be only a single one of these categories, or it could be several, but it's almost certainly not ALL of them - and that's totally okay.

  • It depends on the guy. Depends on how the guy was raised and the whole Nature versus Nurture concept. Depending on how a male is raised and what his experiences are in life, both good and bad, he could prefer for the girl to be in control or he could prefer that he maintain all the control and from the female's point of view, I have experienced that many prefer the guy to be in control most of the time. Of course, this doesn't hold true for every situation. People are individuals and their personalities are just too fluid to bind it down to one or the other.

  • I like a girl who lets me be in charge but will be in charge sometimes. Like when there is something she really wants, she pushes for it and I let her do her thing. The only reason I want to be in control is because I like to keep things easy and simple. Girls have a way of going super big and confusing which is why as much as I like a girl who can take charge sometimes, I like to talk first sometimes.

  • It depends on the individual. I prefer women who take control. Many guys don't. If I had to guess I'd say most guys prefer being in control themselves but it's a very unique thing and most people lie somewhere in the middle (i. e. wanting to be in control sometimes and not in others).

    Women may give men control in bed, but in everything else, regardless of what kind of relationship we're talking about, girls already assume they are in control and they act accordingly. Relationships shouldn't be like that, but any man who thinks he has control over a woman is delusional. Women don't generally commit to men they think they can't control, as much as they'd like to be with those men (for their success, alpha traits, sex appeal, etc.).

    The only case a man would have control, is if a girl has mental issues (or very heavy baggage) and the guy is agressive, and controlling towards her, yet she'll stay with him anyways. We wouldn't be talking about an average/"healthy" relationship, though.
