Apparently the virginal woman has no choice in the matter.

Continually amazed at how a lot of women still somehow (seem to) lose track that they're responsible for their own lives, and therefore responsible for the decisions, actions and reactions they choose therein. Unless virgin women suddenly become as reactionary as tree stumps when faced with being in danger of 'doing the deed', I don't see how the blame falls on men.

Duh, I somehow forgot for two seconds that we're blamed for everything else, so there's zero surprise of this being somewhere on that neverending list as well.

Incidentally, I could've taken at least two girls' virginities when I was in my twenties, and it would've been extremely easy. I was aware of it and both times I made the decision not to. We did other stuff without going that far. It wasn't necessary, at least for me. And they didn't press it. I prefer foreplay-type stuff anyway.

And some of us don't readily adhere to the so-called 'badge of honor' mystique of taking a girl's virginity.

No. But then I wouldn't take a girls virginity without making that clear. Indeed, a girl my age that is still a virgin would be really weird and i don't think we would get along. I could believe she was only letting me take it to be rid of it and wouldn't want to encounter me again thereafter. And as for taking a younger girls virginity I'd assume basically the same thing, as I'd douut a girl would want a real relationship with a guy 10 or 20 years older than her.

Some do. Many just don't want to deal with the emotional baggage that comes along with it - ESPECIALLY for those who seem to be obsessed with it (like so many on GAG).

I didn't. I mena I date with marraige as the intention, but if we're having sex by 6 months in (becasue she's a virgin), I don't know if I want to marry her by that point.
