Should I believe a man if he tells me multiple times that he promises he loves me during sex.

As a general rule I don't believe anything other people say, or honestly really listen too much unless there are key words like "I will" "promise" you know, words that signify actions that are going to happen. If they do what they say, then I trust and respect them more. If they do not, then I do not trust or respect them and they're only there because I have something to gain from it.

Hell, I cut ties with my best friend because the actions weren't lining up with the words, the trust was gone, thus, so was the friendship.

I think it depends on if he says it ONLY during sex. If that's the case then maybe you should ask him why he only says it during sex. If he says it all the time outside of sex, then I think it's safe to say he might actually mean it. Truthfully, if you want a real answer you should talk with him about it.
