Do most women actually shave their pubic hair?

I have never genuinely heard of the majority of women shaving their pubic hair. I have heard though that the pubic area gets itchy down there after shaving pubic hairs, and having it grow back. That would require a lot of maintenance that I don't think many women have the time to always do. So, I don't understand why women would shave their pubic hairs if it causes them to feel the itchy discomfort. I always thought that shaving your pubic area wasn't a big thing that women did daily. I honestly believe that having hairs in the pubic area is the most natural thing. I don't feel ashamed of it, but if someone were to tell me that it was disgusting then I would feel ashamed. Why are we imposing standards that seem extremely uncomfortable? Now, you could say that women can wax that area, but do you think most woman have the luxury and time of spending money on waxing that area? I consider the pubic area to be quite a tender area from what I've seen.

The women I've dated have always done it for me. I don't get the whole imposing standards thing though.. In addition waxing kits are pretty cheap. I've waxed a girlfriend or two, the last had some hard to shave areas. It was actually quite fun and sexy. With that said and not going into graphic detail, I would never ask nor expect any woman I'm with to wax her pubic region!

I like it to be at least trimmed, preferable shaven/waxed. Luckily most girls in my Area agree with that.

There are plenty of people on here who will tell you that most women do shave, or that all women should shave.
As far as I'm concerned pubic hair is natural, and I have got mine. I did shave it once when I was about 20, but I didn't like it. Yes, it's itchy; and I found it uncomfortable. There's no way it's disgusting, so be proud of being normal.

Only thing that gets shaved is legs and armpits.

I prefer to look like a woman, not a prepubescent child.

Wish a certain blonde bimbo I'm familiar with would accept that every woman has their preferences. Also shaving has no health benefits and is actually worse, and having pubic hair is in no way disgusting or unhygenic.

It depends from place to place also you don't need to shave if you don't like it you could also trim or just keep the place tidy.

Don't shave/wax for guys, majority of guys I know prefer natural women (also no fake boobs etc).

I was with my girlfriend at the nudist beach this summer for one day and we made a bet about pubic hair. Results (she won): by far the most women had pubic hair, of these the most with what looked to her as full natural bush. She (24) does not shave at all (nothing, including arms and legs), did shave a couple of times, didn't like it (neither shaving nor the effect). I strongly prefer her all natural, just sexy as hell.

I shaved mine when I first start getting them and never had a problem with it itching down there. When I was 16 I started getting it waxed off and that worked great until I was in college and then I got all my pubic hair lasered off. That works best as all I have is a stray hair every now and then and I just shave it off or pluck it out. Pubic hair is nasty!
