Yep. I think you're about bang on average - whatever people may say. Hormones are flying all over the place at 15, the age of consent in most of the West is 15/16. Of course, being the US, which is extremely... puritanical/Victorian in some states, and then has legalised brothels and gambling paradise just over the border, then it's a little different, but the important part is the same the world over. Whatever the age of consent is, it's a limit, not a target. If you FEEL ready, then you probably are (I'm not encouraging anything illegal!). First thing's first - safety! It's really easy to get 'carried away' because you're horny AF. So ALWAYS make sure you use a condom. It might be him that has to wear it, but it's you that's fucked if he doesn't (pun intended) it's much more difficult for men to get STI's than women, and we don't get pregnant, which (esp in the US) - or so I understand - is a minefield. Don't go sleeping with guys who are more than a couple of years older than you - you don't have to be a certain age to be a paedophile - so keep that in mind, and don't feel 'guilty' about it either. Learn about it. Like anything new, it's exciting and it's an adventure and it takes a while to find your favourite... flavour, so don't be afraid to experiment - within your own comfort zone. Honestly, it really depends on the person. Some people feel ready to have their first time at 15, others would rather wait. Whenever you decide to “lose” your virginity though if you haven’t, make sure you are protected, in a safe environment, that you feel comfortable, and that you have sex with someone you trust and who you know will respect your boundaries. Doing it on the fly may make you regret it, although it’s different for everyone. I would recommend everyone to lose after 18+. Also what helps a lot is if you don’t think of it as “losing” something. You don’t lose anything from your first time. It’s more like you’ve gained an experience.
