  Guys are never certain that we even HAVE "sex appeal." It's not like it is for girls, where a truly hot girl knows she's hot. A handsome guy may be confident as a result of him being handsome, but that's not the same as using sex appeal. Guys, even handsome ones but ESPECIALLY average ones, basically never, ever get attention from the opposite sex as it is. It's really rare. So as a result, we don't think we have sex appeal, because females don't let us know.
