  • Yes, and they'd love to stop it. Seriously.

Why do I say that? Because they're making porn to get paid. Teenagers are not paying for porn. They're using illegally shared (usually) clips on tube sites. The producers would love it if the tube sites vanished and you needed to use a credit card to get porn online, which would radically drop the number of teens watching. But they can't stop adults sharing it for free, which means they have very little control over who sees it in the long term, period.

The internet is full with not-for-kids content, and porn is the least of it, frankly. It really is up to parents to make attempts to monitor kids, or as they age form being young, to teach them safe internet use skills.

  • Of course they do, this is like saying back when cigarette advertising was a mainstream did big tobacco know that underage kids were smoking.

  • Yes they do. People under 18 are considered one of their best customers and brings ratings up. Teens have many ways to get past filters and find tricks/hacks where they can access the content. So unless you have strong security on your computer and its modified, they can get through. They are indeed is aware of this. Many of them don't care. For the ones that do, find a way to leave the industry even if it trashes their reputation in the outside world.

  • Of course they do, James Deen makes a tidy little side line off of "Deenagers", young teen girls who are uber fans of his porn films. Tumblr is littered with them...

    Deen even markets to teens

  • They probably do but it is the parents responsibility to monitor the child's computer / internet use and not of the porn company. All the companies can do is to ensure that they only employ legal actors.

  • but how do you get past the big sign that says CLICK HERE IF YOU ARE 18?

  • Oh, I'm sure they do. There's just not too much they can do about it.

  • i'm sure they do and i'm sure they don't really care

that little "are you 18" is just legal stuff so they can say they do not peddle to minors

  • Yes... but putting the disclaimer at the beginning makes them not liable.

  • Yea they definitely know. there's not really an effective way to stop them from doing it since its the internet and anyone can access it.

  • I'm pretty sure they don't give a shit. It's wrong, but what can you really do?

  • Lol you know they do, but it comes down to the thought "well what can you do"

  • They probably don't care in fact ^^

  • who cares.

  • Probably.

  • yes, and why they should care?

  • Of course

  • Yeah they know. They can't be blamed since it's our fault that we lie about being 18.

    • ugh i just feel like its wrong , I've watched porn not going to lie but when it starts to effect your friends ( my bestfriend has a huge porn addiction he has so may pics of girls on his phone ) it just bothers me

    • Yeah.

  • Of course they know. They just don't care.
