It's a balance of power thing. Men don't usually care about being called an asshole or pig in the same way white people usually don't care about being called a cracker. It doesn't matter, because they have most of the power in society. The words are just words. They don't actually translate into negative outcomes. It doesn't work that way for people who are on the other side of the scale. When a woman is disrespected, it actually matters because they aren't in control. There are objective, measurable consequences.

When I see the word incel or other such terms it means the person trying to "insult" has a basic vocabulary and resorts to name calling because they have nothing substantial to bring to a conversation. That and they think it makes them look edgy. All it does it make them look like a basic bitch.
