  • Well there is more consequence to the woman so it behooves her to exercise care. I heard Pearl is arguing she exercises discretion as to who she has sex with and that a lot of young women don't. i. e. they are not being responsible to themselves.

For my part I use condoms because I don't want STDs and I don't to be vulnerable to a woman who isn't responsible. It is my responsibility to be responsible to me. It is a woman's responsibility to be responsible to herself.

Birth control isn't rocket science. But a third of births are to single ladies in their 20 in the US so there would seem to be some carelessness and irresponsibility.

So I think Pearl has a point.

    • That makes good sense to me.

    • Yes. It is your responsibility to be responsible to you. Pearl also sees the dilemma of when does a fetus becomes a person and terminating it's life is murder? Not an easy question and most religions have the categorical answer of conception. So she probably sees it as a responsibility to not terminate life as a form of birth control. And it is really only the woman who owns that responsibility since men have no vote though they might have in some cases influence. In a debate, another girl was arguing the fetus is not a person till birth. So it is OK to have abortion two days before was Pearl's obvious response. You could argue that is murder to prevent conception by putting the sperm in a little bag. I'm not sure if the Roman Catholic Church still holds to that. I'm just sure I don't want to have that moral dilemma.

    • @RavVid I don't know either. What is murder? What about 3 months after conception? What about after 1 month? After 1 week? After 1 day? After 1 hour; after 1 minute; after 1 second? What if you prevent conception? Is that murder since the egg, if fertilized, would have lived?

  • Is WHAT 100% the woman's responsibility?

Responsiblity for creating a life is shared by both mother and father.

Responsbility for receiving approprate prenatal care ultmately rests wth the mother, but the financial responsbility should be borne by both.

Responsibility for caring for the child while it is a newborn rests primarly with the mother, and especially if the baby is breastfeeding.

Responsibility for caring for the child while it bcomes a toddler and older should be shared equally by both parents.

Financial responsibility for provding for the child should be borne by both parents in proportion to their financial abilty to provide.

    • Since women have 100% of the choices, they should have 100% percent of the responsibility. Women know, if it available, men are going to have sex. Therefore, since women are the gatekeepers of sex, if they allow it without accepting 100% of the responsibilities, they are 304s. Except in modern times (perhaps that last 100 years) for all of the 3 million years of human existence, women had 100% of the responsibility unless a man willingly accepted some of the responsibility. A flash in the pan of our evolutionary history doesn't change what has always been.

    • Is that the way that you think it SHOULD be and, if so, what advantages does that have for the long-term survival of our species?

    • That is how it was for the last 3 million years that humans have existed. It is also how it was for the prior 12 million years with our great ape ancestors that are now extinct and for their ancestors. Therefore, at least in the short term (tens of thousands to another million years) the survival of our species is pretty much assured if we don't destroy ourselves or something happens that is worse than the Toba super-volcano eruption that occurred around 74,000 years ago and resulted in a severe global volcanic winter of six to ten years. After Toba, we almost went extinct as only an estimated 20,000 humans survived that eruption. But survived we did and increased our population by a factor of 400000 to 1. Therefore, human behavior for almost all of the last 74,000 has proven to be successful for our species. You only need to witness the similar behavior of our closest relatives to realize that behavior is successful.

  • Pearl herself has admited to sleeping around. She is not what she is pretending to be. She is lying.. however no it is 50% of the woman's responcibility just like it is 50% of the man's responcibility.

    • Your claim is because it is not in the video.

    • She admited to fucking a radom milmionare in a van and only dating him for one month here is more evidance:

Notice her friend in the blue shirt she saying she was saying no "cause there was so many" her exact words

    • I watched both videos and I couldn't find where Pearl said what you claim. And, without personally knowing them and their motivations, I don't accept what others claim someone said or did.

  • its also a mans responsable to he shot in her to make the baby its not just her responsabilty its also his to if he can't deal with that then he's not a man it takes 2 to make these things happen he came in her made the child she pushed it out and brought it into the world its botb of them not just a women

  • Every situation is different so to say it's 100% this is... a really dumb view from anyone as they certainly have not accounted for every case possible.
So simply no I do not agree with that view as I could bet my life on it that she hasn't accounted for every situation and it's very rare to find something truly 100% one way that only really happens in objectively controlled environments, which last I checked the humans are not that.

    • I agree with Pearl; exceptions don't make the rule.

    • That's not how logic works. That would be like saying because a volcano hasn't erupted in a 100 years then someone say's ah it 100% won't erupt and then when it does just saying ah but that was just exception. This is just a bullshit excuse to pretend that it's defiantly not 100% of the time that way.

    • That is exactly how it works. It has nothing to do with volcanoes that don't erupt hundreds of times every day. Instead, you are attempting to claim that situations that don't exist and that you can't even name refutes the obvious.

  • Who else's? The neighbours?

It seriously isn't the debate to be having.

  • No, because the truth is that she isn't, the dude left his print in her and didn't pull out properly, didn't use protection and possibly didn't care atm so it's foul to just say the woman is 100% responsible when it takes two to make a baby.

    • The women have all the choices, the men have none. You should have watched the video.

    • My mind won't change on it, if the guy wasn't forced to have sex, then he's responsible as well because he made the choice to have sex, if they had their fun, they should take care of the chum.

  • I do NOT.

  • No. It took 2 people 2 decide 2 go fuck without a way to prevent a pregnancy. Both are equally responsible

    • You should watch the video. Women have 100% of the control and of the knowledge. Only women know if the other person is lying. Therefore, they should have 100% of the responsibility.

    • Do t need 2 watch the dumb video. I can already tell u and the idiot chick n the video are just dumb.

  • Nope.

  • Yes and no. It's more like 90% woman 10% man. If a woman would want to have sex they know 100% they can get pregnant, so they should either be on the pill or always bring condoms.

Men should always bring a condom also, and men should also know the risk of the woman getting pregnant.

BUT men can't get pregnant, a woman can. So because a woman can get pregnant then they have more responsibility then the men.

  • No it's an equal responsibility

  • Its 100 percent the woman's choice but after the baby is here under law its only 50 percent her responsibility

    • Just because it is the law doesn't make it right. Furthermore, it is never 50/50 it is more like 100/0 or at least 90/10. Men have 90% of the responsibility and 10% the choices, while women have 100% of the choices and only 10% of the responsibility.

    • I will accept 100% of the responsibility because I will not sex outside of marriage or at least until I am engaged with an announced engagement with the approval of both families. Other women are 304s.

    • If all women had that same mentality things would be better

  • Until men get a say in abortion then yes

  • It's not just her responsibility. It takes 2 to make a baby. If a guy gets a woman pregnant it is the responsibility of both parties. A real man would step up and take responsibility

  • No. It's 50/50. Though I suppose it could depend on the circumstances

  • Yes it is because unless men are violently gRaping women in the streets

sex doesn’t happen unless women allow it

  • It is both people responsibility. Including the mail and the female that created life

    • How much responsibility was given to males of our species during the 2.5 million years of the Stone Age? And, how much responsibility is given to males of our closest great ape relatives?

  • Both are responsible equally

  • I agree

  • Noooooooo

  • Kinda yeah
