Do you agree with the statement? “Believe all women?”?

Women would never make up accusations about sexual assault. We need to believe them whenever they say they have been.

  • Absolutely not.

This phrase is usually used within the subject of accusing someone of some crime.

Listen to all women, listen to all reports claimed.

Both sides have to be interviewed, investigation has to be done, accusations verified or discredited.

This was used during the Supreme Court selection process. A woman pops up and claims the guy assaulted her 40 years ago (all supporting her came from one political party) and the phrase believe all women was thrown about as if this guy should just lose his job and his position be thrown out because someone decides to pop up right as he is going to the SC.

No proof is needed. No evidence. Statute of limitations plays no roll. Anytime your political opponent has someone in a position you don't like just make a 40 year old claim, shame them, vilify them, fire them, make them lose their job with zero evidence, zero proof... just a blanket "she said it" therefore it has to be true end of story.

That isn't how justice works or life works.

  • if you don't agree then you're obviously a sexist, misogynistic, incel, woman hating loser

fuck the evidence right? Donald Trump, Andrew Tate, Julian Assange, Brett Kavanagh, Kobe Bryant RIP and many more are clearly rapists via word of mouth alone

  • Reports of sexual assualt should be investigated, but not "believed". They should be believed once they are proved. Until then they are accusations.

If proved true, then the perpetrator should be punished.

If disproved the accuser should be equally punished.

If they can't be proved or disproved, then I am not sure what the right answer is.

  • I think every claim should be investigated, which requires belief.

    • Actually no, doesn't require belief. I've done investigations most of my life. I don't believe or not believe going into it, that's the point of the investigation. I get a tip, I don't even care if it's true. I care if it is verifiable. Something true but unverifiable doesn't do much for me whereas something verifiable I can work with, true or not. I certainly don't believe the tip. That's what causes investigative bias.

    • That’s just you though. Not everyone else operates that way.

  • Of course not. But we do need to stop ignoring most women, which is what we currently do. Every accusation should be quietly looked into as swiftly as possible. And if it is found the accusation is made up, the accuser should get double the sentence that would have been given to the accused. Mind, an inconclusive investigation is not the same as evidence the accusation was made up.

  • Lotta black folks hanging from trees once because a white woman lied because she didn't like them looking at her. If they even WERE looking at her.

  • Stupid statement when talked about from the point of the law

  • Plug in Men.

  • women can lie just like everyone else.
